VIDEO GUIDE
QUICK ROUTE
Do it in this order
How to enter the Halloween event
Talk to the Halloween TP NPC at Spawn. The new Halloween Event Map is the hub for the event's activities and has a day/night cycle. Some NPCs only appear at night, so a daytime visit will not show every interaction.
Overworld NPC spawn timers now appear at their spawn locations. Use those timers and the event's day/night cycle when checking for enemies and NPCs.
Trick or Treat: rewards, fights and raids
There are three NPC variants: Regular NPCs at fixed spawns, Night-only NPCs, and Random NPCs whose locations and spawn times vary. Each NPC can be interacted with once per hour. That limit is per NPC, not one shared interaction for the entire event.
The outcome is random: you receive a treat or a trick when interacting, rather than choosing which encounter to receive.
- Treat: receive a random item reward from the NPC-specific loot pool.
- Trick encounter: enemies spawn for you to defeat, or you are sent into a Halloween Raid.
Four Halloween Overworld Raids were added through Trick or Treat encounters at launch. Move between NPCs while their individual one-hour cooldowns expire.
Curtain Night: 10 quests across two weeks
Curtain Night requires level 1,500 or higher. Its ten quests take players from the festival at The Crossing toward the Mahito Subway Raid. Seven quests are available in Week 1; the final three are announced for Week 2.
The new quest givers are Halloween Nobara, Halloween Panda, Masked Stranger and Halloween Yuji.
The final three quests are Week 2 content, not part of the seven available at launch.
Idle Transfiguration: four moves and three trees
Idle Transfiguration is now released with four base moves and three specialization trees. Their focus effects differ, so choose around the effect you want rather than treating every tree as the same upgrade.
- Tree 1: its focus unlocks a bar mechanic. Triggering it makes the next hit or hits deal 2× damage.
- Tree 2: its focus increases cooldowns in exchange for a +50% boost to all damage.
- Tree 3: unlocks an additional Soul Ring summon slot and grants +75% Halloween damage bonus.
Soul Ring: claim and summon boss souls
Soul Ring is a new passive item that requires Idle Transfiguration to be equipped. It increases Idle Transfiguration damage and gives a 10% chance to claim a soul when you defeat a boss NPC.
Claimed souls can be summoned to fight for you, and their strength inherits part of your ATK. Idle Transfiguration's third tree adds another Soul Ring summon slot. The announcement does not specify the ATK share, Soul Ring's acquisition method or its exact damage increase.
Hallo Scythe, Reaper clan and Halloween Bonus
Hallo Scythe is a new limited weapon obtainable from the Event Raid. Its launch base kit has three skills; an expanded kit is announced for the following week. The updated in-game AFK Place also includes Hallo Scythe among its rewards.
Reaper is a new limited clan. It grants Reaper Aura at higher level stages, buffs Hallo Scythe skills and provides additional Halloween Bonus. Reaper clan is also among the new AFK Place rewards.
Halloween Bonus is damage amplification for Halloween-specific content: the Halloween Event Map and Halloween Raids. It is not a general damage bonus for every activity.
Four limited Halloween progression accessories
Complete tiered Halloween Progression Quests for event-exclusive rewards. The new limited accessories are:
- Stitched Face — Special Grade accessory. Its new material can be bought from the Event Shop.
- 2026 Halloween Event Hat.
- Trick O' Treat Companion.
- Candy Basket.
The announcement does not give the Stitched Face material's name, quantities or a full crafting recipe.
Spooky Event Gear: six limited tiers
Spooky Event Gear is only obtainable during the 2026 Halloween Event. Its six spirit-themed tiers are Spooky Yellow, Spooky Orange, Spooky Red, Spooky X, Spooky Y and Spooky Z.
Use Spooky Collection in game to check event completion. Exact gear stats and per-tier recipes were not included in the announcement.
Spooky Candy, Lost Souls and mini-boss drops
Spooky Candy is the main event currency. Earn it from Trick or Treat, enemies and quests across Shibuya, then spend it in the Event Shop. The updated AFK Place also includes Spooky Candy.
Lost Souls come from Halloween-related enemies and fill the Soul Bag. Check your progress at the Soul Bag NPC.
- Transfigured Civilian: Transfigured Souls, Spooky Candy and Lost Souls.
- Cursed Pumpkin: Cursed Embers, Spooky Candy and Lost Souls.
SPOOKY code and removed code
SPOOKY grants 500 Spooky Candy, 1,000 Crystals and 5,000 Lumens. Enter the code as shown.
shikigami has been removed and is now listed as expired. Other codes are not re-confirmed by this announcement.
What is coming in Week 2?
The remaining three Curtain Night quests and Hallo Scythe's expanded skill kit are announced for the event's second week. Additional routes into Halloween Overworld Raids are planned for later in the event, without a specific date in these notes.
