QUICK ROUTE
Do it in this order
Which Shikigami passive should you use?
For Copy users, Rika is the passive to farm. For Ten Shadows users, Mahoraga has the highest equipped stat bonuses among these seven new options. If you have Mahoraga unlocked and regularly use its skills, it is the one I would prioritize.
Until then, choose around the Shikigami you already use. Passives with identical equipped bonuses differ in which skills receive their temporary boost, so switching between equal-stat options only helps if the new one better matches your attacks.
- Rika: +100% Copy damage, +100% Cursed Energy, +100% health.
- Bunny, Shiro and Kuro: each gives +25% Ten Shadows damage, +50% Cursed Energy, +50% health.
- Nue, Totality and Max Elephant: each gives +35% Ten Shadows damage, +75% Cursed Energy, +75% health.
- Mahoraga: +50% Ten Shadows damage, +100% Cursed Energy, +100% health.
The listed stats apply while the passive is equipped. Its temporary double-damage effect only applies to the matching Shikigami's skills.
How the double-damage effect and cooldown reset work
All eight passives share a bar mechanic. When the bar fills, the matching Shikigami's skills deal double damage for 10 seconds, and those skills reset their cooldowns when the effect activates.
Use the newly available skills during that window. The reset happens at activation; it does not give unlimited skill uses for the entire 10 seconds. For example, Nue Passive boosts Nue's skills during its activation, not every Ten Shadows summon or every attack in your build.
Keep the equipped damage bonus separate from the temporary effect. A Ten Shadows or Copy damage bonus remains part of the passive's equipped stats outside the activation window, while the double damage is limited to the matching skills for those 10 seconds.

One activation means a 10-second matching-skill damage boost and one cooldown reset—not continuous cooldown resets.
Rika Passive: Memories Four and the 2% drop
Rika Passive drops from Memories Four in the Past Rika questline, where you defeat the Yuta mini-boss. Its drop chance is 2%, so expect to repeat the fight if you do not get it on your first clears.
This is a useful farm for early- and mid-game Copy progression because you can work toward the passive alongside the questline for your technique. Finishing the questline does not guarantee the drop: the 2% chance is still random.
When Rika Passive's bar fills, Rika's skills deal double damage for 10 seconds and reset their cooldowns on activation. Its equipped bonuses combine Copy damage with extra health and Cursed Energy.

- Copy damage: +100%.
- Cursed Energy: +100%.
- Health: +100%.
- Source: Yuta mini-boss in Memories Four, Past Rika questline.
- Drop chance: 2%.
Bunny, Shiro and Kuro: equal stats, different skill boosts
Bunny Passive, Shiro Passive and Kuro Passive all drop from Altar Shikigami Overworld Raids. Each gives +25% Ten Shadows damage, +50% Cursed Energy and +50% health while equipped.
There is no extra equipped Ten Shadows damage to gain simply by switching between these three. Choose the one whose skills you use most while progressing through Ten Shadows.

- Bunny Passive: Bunny's skills deal double damage for 10 seconds and reset their cooldowns on activation.
- Shiro Passive: the same activation effect applies to Shiro's skills.
- Kuro Passive: the same activation effect applies to Kuro's skills.
Nue, Totality and Max Elephant: the higher-stat middle options
Nue Passive, Totality Passive and Max Elephant Passive also drop from Altar Shikigami Overworld Raids. Each gives +35% Ten Shadows damage, +75% Cursed Energy and +75% health while equipped.
Compared with Bunny, Shiro and Kuro, that is 10 percentage points more Ten Shadows damage and 25 percentage points more Cursed Energy and health. These are useful options while you work toward Mahoraga, especially when the matching Shikigami is already part of your regular attacks.
Their equipped stats are identical to one another. Choose between them based on which set of skills you can make the most use of during the 10-second activation.

- Nue Passive: doubles Nue's skill damage for 10 seconds and resets those cooldowns on activation.
- Totality Passive: the same activation effect applies to Totality's skills.
- Max Elephant Passive: the same activation effect applies to Max Elephant's skills.
Mahoraga Passive: the highest equipped Ten Shadows bonuses
Mahoraga Passive is Disaster Grade and drops from Altar Shikigami Overworld Raids. It gives +50% Ten Shadows damage, +100% Cursed Energy and +100% health—the highest equipped bonuses among these seven new Ten Shadows passives.
When its bar fills, Mahoraga's skills deal double damage for 10 seconds and reset their cooldowns at activation. If Mahoraga is unlocked and its skills are part of your build, this combines the strongest equipped stats in the group with a temporary boost you can actually use.
Compared with Nue, Totality and Max Elephant, Mahoraga adds another 15 percentage points of Ten Shadows damage and 25 percentage points of Cursed Energy and health. Compared with Bunny, Shiro and Kuro, the gap is 25 percentage points of damage and 50 percentage points of Cursed Energy and health.
If you are still progressing toward Mahoraga, use an available passive that supports your current skills. Whatever you equip, watch the bar so the matching skills do not sit unused during the damage window.

Rika comes from the Past Rika questline. The other seven passives come from Altar Shikigami Overworld Raids; their individual drop rates are not specified in this guide.
