How to Increase Sorcerer Strength in Jujutsu Zero

Raise Sorcerer Strength through better gear rolls, upgrades, technique progression, accessory Refinements, emblems, and temporary Vows without confusing score with real damage.

Understand what Sorcerer Strength measures

Sorcerer Strength is an estimate of how strong the equipped build is based on its stats and equipment. It is useful for seeing whether a change raises the displayed score, but it is not a direct damage formula and does not prove that one loadout clears enemies faster than another.

Some bonuses contribute more to the number than others. A technique or item can raise Sorcerer Strength while producing less practical damage for a particular move or activity. Treat the score as one build signal, then test the result in combat before deciding which setup is actually stronger.

Separate three goals: your permanent unbuffed score, your temporary peak with Vows active, and repeatable combat performance. Mixing those measurements makes equipment comparisons unreliable.

Record a clean baseline before changing gear

Start with no temporary Vows active and write down the displayed Sorcerer Strength. Keep your character level, Cursed Technique, passive, ailment, emblem, accessory, and every other gear slot unchanged while replacing one item. This isolates the score change caused by that item.

Repeat the comparison at matching upgrade and ascension levels whenever possible. If one piece is fully upgraded and the other is not, the result measures both the item and its progression. Keep a separate record for the final upgraded comparison.

Compare randomized Honor gear by its complete roll

Kaku, Aoi, and Kaku-Aoi Fusion have randomized regular stats. Two copies of the same item can therefore produce different Sorcerer Strength and different damage. One piece may roll useful Attack and Critical Damage, while another copy contributes less to the build even though its name and rarity are identical.

Compare every visible stat before replacing a retained piece. A strong Kaku or Aoi can be more useful than a weak Fusion until the Fusion has good rolls and enough ascension progress. Lock promising items before spending duplicates, and measure the score change with the rest of the loadout held constant.

Prioritize useful stats, then finish upgrades

For the supplied score-pushing setup, compare flat Attack, Attack%, Critical Damage, Critical Rate, and Cooldown Reduction, in that order. This is a build recommendation rather than a universal formula: different techniques, passives, critical caps, and cooldown patterns can change which final roll performs best.

Once a piece wins the comparison, fully upgrade it and work on its ascension. Apply the same process to the emblem. A rare emblem is not automatically best if its bonuses do not support the current build, so compare the entire stat card and the resulting score.

Finish relevant progression before comparing how much each technique contributes.

Compare fully progressed Cursed Techniques fairly

The equipped Cursed Technique also contributes stats, and upgrading its progression can raise Sorcerer Strength. Compare techniques only after finishing the relevant upgrades; otherwise the score difference partly reflects incomplete progression rather than the techniques themselves.

The supplied test reported that Awakened Star Rage can display more Sorcerer Strength than Awakened Limitless while Awakened Limitless can still deal more damage in practice. Treat that as a test example, not a universal ranking. Use equal gear, upgrades, target, buffs, and critical conditions when comparing techniques, and record both the displayed score and actual clear time.

Use Infinity Gauntlet as the endgame accessory example

Infinity Gauntlet is a Disaster Grade accessory from the Strongest of Today Raid Gamemode. It supplies several offensive bonuses, including Awakened Limitless amplification, and can produce a large Sorcerer Strength increase for an Awakened Limitless setup.

The supplied fully upgraded example added roughly 24 million Sorcerer Strength, but that number should not be treated as the Gauntlet’s universal isolated value. Record the score before equipping it, keep the rest of the build unchanged, then record the result at each Refinement stage. Work toward Refinement level 6 only after confirming that the complete tooltip supports the build.

Compare temporary Vows, including new Vow VI upgrades

Attack Vow V and Sorcery Vow V can temporarily add several million Sorcerer Strength by increasing stats while active. The supplied Attack route uses the Offense Trainer to exchange 9 Attack Vow IVs for 3 Attack Vow Vs. The provided in-game tooltip verifies that Sorcery Vow V comes from the Sorcery Trainer, exchanges 9 Sorcery Vow IVs for 3 Sorcery Vow Vs, and lasts 30 minutes.

Activate the Vows after recording the permanent score. Note which Vows are active and when they expire, then compare boosted builds with the same effects running. Once the Vows end, Sorcerer Strength returns toward the unbuffed value, so temporary results should never be presented as permanent progression.

The Evolution + QOL update adds Attack Vow VI at the Shadow God’s level-6,000 quest for 3 Attack Vow V, and Sorcery Vow VI at its level-8,000 quest for 3 Sorcery Vow V. Defense Vow VI comes from the Light God at level 7,000 for 3 Defense Vow V; XP Vow +++ unlocks there at level 10,000 for 3 XP Vow ++. The notes do not provide the new Vows’ exact bonuses or durations. Record the live tooltip and use the same Vow tier when comparing scores.

Test real damage and clear time separately

After improving the score, test a repeatable move or rotation against the same enemy or dummy. Keep target health, distance, buffs, ailment, critical conditions, and server conditions as consistent as possible. Record several attempts rather than keeping only the largest damage number.

For farming builds, also time how quickly the setup clears an ordinary enemy group or completes the chosen activity. A slightly lower Sorcerer Strength can still be better when its hitboxes, cooldown cycle, movement, survivability, or area coverage produce faster and more reliable clears.

Permanent and temporary strength at a glance

Permanent progression: character level, upgraded Cursed Technique, fully upgraded and ascended gear, emblem stats, passive, ailment, accessory, accessory Refinements, the expanded Evolution nodes, and any equipped Vanity option.

Temporary peak: the same permanent build with the same explicitly recorded Attack and Sorcery Vow tiers and any other clearly recorded temporary effects active.

Practical performance: repeatable damage and clear time under controlled conditions. Keep this measurement separate from the displayed Sorcerer Strength.

Common mistakes

  • Calling one number the universal maximum without documenting rolls, upgrades, and active effects.
  • Replacing strong randomized gear solely because another item has a rarer name.
  • Comparing an upgraded item with an unupgraded replacement.
  • Treating the suggested offensive stat order as a complete universal score formula.
  • Comparing Cursed Techniques with different progression levels.
  • Treating the supplied 24-million Gauntlet example as a guaranteed isolated increase.
  • Mixing Vow-boosted and unbuffed scores in the same equipment comparison.
  • Assuming the highest Sorcerer Strength automatically produces the highest damage or fastest clear.

New permanent progression: Evolution nodes and Vanity

The Evolution + QOL update expands the tree with Epitome (+250% ATK, +125 ATK, +30% CR), Paragon (+250% HP, +5 Air Jumps, +3 Stamina Charge), and Zenith (+10% SCD, +250% CD, +15% CDR). Apotheosis has seven levels, each listing +1.5% DMGAMP, +1.5% CTAMP_ALL, and +1.5% WPNAMP_ALL. The related questline starts at level 6,000; its final Apotheosis quest requires level 10,000.

These are new build bonuses, not a verified formula for how much Sorcerer Strength they add. Compare your score before and after each node, then test real damage. Maxing the four additions requires 16 Divine Shards, including six from the listed quests and ten more from Infinite Crates at the guide’s stated 2.5% drop chance. See the Evolution guide for all other costs.

Vanity options list Ten Shadows 22.5% DMG, Yuta 18.5% Damage AMP, Awakened Blood Manipulation 32.5% DMG, Awakened Star Rage 30% DMG, and Awakened Limitless 15% DMG. They provide buffs without the limited skin appearance. The notes do not establish stacking rules or their exact Sorcerer Strength contribution.

  • Include Evolution nodes and Vanity in every before/after build record.
  • Separate permanent bonuses from active Vow VI boosts.
  • Do not present an older demonstration as the new maximum possible score.
