Build overview: Blood Manipulation with Sickles

This route builds around Blood Manipulation, a compatible Sickles weapon, and offensive equipment and titles. Start with normal Sickles, use Blood Sickles if they drop during progression, and work toward Damascus Sickles as the final weapon in this build.

Ashira's build recommendation favors Blood Manipulation over Shockwave and Dream. This is a build choice, not a measured universal damage ranking: no fixed damage total, complete combo rotation, or exact gear-stat values are supplied here.

Become a demon and unlock your Evil Art

Defeat slayers in Iceveil Valley until your reputation reaches -50 or lower. Travel to Mistfall Harbor at night and find Muzan. Complete his quests, obtain his blood, and use it to become a demon.

Use the bell you received to teleport to Muzan's domain. Roll for an Evil Art or buy the one you want, then use its item and complete the unlock questline. Choose Blood Manipulation for this build.

Get the Classic Straw Hat early

A demon needs protection from sunlight while traveling and farming during the day. The Classic Straw Hat provides that protection, making it an early priority rather than something to leave until the damage build is finished.

In Iceveil Valley, find the three enemies standing near a chest. Defeat them, then open the chest for a chance at the Classic Straw Hat. Repeat until it drops; an exact drop rate is not confirmed in the supplied walkthrough.

Farm Hoyuzo for Sickles and Scyther Vortex

From the bear area, head right toward the waterfall. Look for the cave entrance behind it and enter to find Hoyuzo. The normal Sickles have a listed 7% drop chance from this boss.

Keep farming for Scyther Vortex as well. It unlocks the second Sickles weapon skill, so obtaining the weapon alone does not finish this step. The 7% figure applies to the weapon; the transcript does not give Scyther Vortex's drop rate.

Farm Gyutai for Blood Sickles and Circular Slashes

From spawn, head right toward Gyutai's cave. Enter the cave and farm the boss for Blood Sickles, which have a listed 7% drop chance. These are the intermediate weapon upgrade for this route.

You also need Circular Slashes from Gyutai to unlock Blood Manipulation's final skill. Its drop chance is not supplied. Even if you skip Blood Sickles and craft Damascus Sickles directly from normal Sickles, you still want this skill item.

Craft Damascus Sickles through the Tower route

Speak to the Blacksmith in Hidden Village and accept his quest. Follow its marker to the Tower entrance. Clear floors in this separate mode to earn Wen for rewards and the Damascus Sickles craft.

The recipe accepts either normal Sickles or Blood Sickles. Blood Sickles can help during progression, but they are not a mandatory ingredient if you still have normal Sickles. Save the materials below before returning to craft.

Metal Scraps and Silk Thread can drop from world boss chests across the map. Keep them as you farm your weapons, skill items, and equipment instead of discarding them and starting the material grind later.

Mythic Refinement Ore can be obtained by selling unwanted Mythical items at Mistfall Harbor. The walkthrough also mentions a 30,000-Wen ore purchase after Tower mode, but it does not establish the quantity received. Check the live shop offer before calculating the total Wen needed for all ten ore.

The 90,000-Wen weapon fee is separate from any Wen spent buying ore. Mythical Ore used for clan rolls is named separately in the transcript; do not assume it is interchangeable with the recipe's Mythic Refinement Ore.

Refine your weapon carefully at Hagane

Find Hagane, the refiner in Hidden Mist Village. Use refinement ores from world boss chests to improve your weapon. Read the success chance before committing materials: an attempt can upgrade or downgrade the weapon, and the chance becomes lower at higher refinement levels.

You can refine normal Sickles and Blood Sickles while progressing, but avoid spending all your ore on a weapon you plan to replace. Keep resources for Damascus Sickles rather than treating every temporary upgrade as a final investment.

Equip Demonic Lantern and balance your equipment

Demonic Lantern can drop from any demon world boss chest. It provides Additional Damage and Damage Factor while also improving nighttime visibility, which is useful on dark routes and inside caves.

For the other three equipment slots, compare drops by Additional Damage and Damage Factor. Keep at least one item with Damage Reduction and Health so you can survive boss attacks and farm consistently.

You do not need a specific named item in every slot before continuing. Check the equipment you collect during the weapon and material grind, and replace pieces when their stats improve your setup. Exact Lantern bonuses and an exact drop chance are not supplied.

Use all three title slots

Equip up to three titles and check every slot. For this build, prioritize flat Damage, Damage Factor, Evil Art Damage, and Evil Art Damage Factor.

Choose useful bonuses from the titles you have unlocked. The walkthrough does not name a mandatory three-title combination or supply title unlock requirements, so there is no reason to delay the whole build while chasing an unspecified perfect set.

Choose a practical clan and keep progressing your skills

Kamado protects you from sunlight without the Classic Straw Hat, freeing the slot used for sun protection. It is a Supreme clan and difficult to roll, so do not wait for it before starting the build.

Iguro, Agatsuma, and Kocho are the more accessible alternatives recommended in Ashira's walkthrough. Clan rolls use Mythical Ore from world boss chests. No clan roll chances or exact alternative-clan bonuses are supplied here.

Keep unlocking skill-tree nodes, raising mastery, and unlocking the available Sickles and Blood Manipulation skills throughout the route. Equipment alone does not finish the build.
