VIDEO GUIDE
QUICK ROUTE
Do it in this order
Choose normal Tower first
Normal Tower permits unit traits. Traitless Tower disables trait bonuses and tracks its own floors and milestones. A unit that depends on Unbound, Primordial, Draconic, or another high-impact trait will be weaker in Traitless Tower even though its base stats, equipment, passives, and support synergy still apply.
The shortest Cubert route is therefore normal Tower first. Traitless Tower is valuable afterward for its separate rewards, but splitting time between the modes delays floor 50.
Read a failed floor before changing the team
Tower floors can change the map, modifiers, and damage multipliers. A number above 1 means the listed damage type is boosted; a number below 1 means it is reduced. If your carry is heavily reduced, another attempt with the identical team is usually wasted.
Start with your best general team and keep it while it wins. After a loss, diagnose the floor instead of rebuilding all six slots. Preserve Stone Alchemist or your preferred economy unit, keep support that still reaches the important placements, and swap one or two countered damage dealers.
This approach is faster and less expensive than preparing a unique team for every early floor.

Counter common modifiers
For shields, use fast attackers and set suitable units to target Shielded. For fast enemies, add reliable crowd control such as Salmon Sorcerer. For splitters and summoners, favor consistent area-of-effect damage. If the modifier explicitly checks damage over time, bring a unit whose live tooltip confirms burn, bleed, or another accepted effect.
Healing, stuns, and other modifiers change priorities. Spread damage across the path when enemies can stun nearby units. Do not stack every carry inside one small support circle if a single disable can stop the entire defense.
Treat unit examples as recommendations, not mandatory requirements. Stone Alchemist, Salmon Sorcerer, The Hero, and Forbidden Teacher are examples from the source; another unit can fill the same role if its current kit is stronger.
Placement, targeting, and active skills
Place support where it covers multiple important attackers without forcing all damage into one stun zone. Adjust targeting when a shielded, fast, or healing enemy is escaping while the team attacks less dangerous targets.
Tower floors are separate matches. There is no benefit to saving an active skill for a later floor. Use it when it prevents a leak, clears a dangerous modifier wave, or shortens the boss phase enough to survive.

Claim Cubert and decide whether to continue
The transcript identifies floor 50 as Cubert's milestone. Open the milestone track after clearing it and confirm that the unit was claimed. Lock Cubert immediately if the inventory supports locking.
Players who only want Cubert can stop there. Continue in Traitless Tower for the second milestone track or climb the seasonal leaderboard only if those rewards justify the extra time. The narrated leaderboard list includes a Shiny Cubert and cosmetics, but exact reward names and rank thresholds require a live-menu check.

Important warnings and common mistakes
- Do not start in Traitless Tower if Cubert is your only objective.
- Do not assume an unchanged team can ignore a severe damage reduction.
- Do not replace the whole team when only one or two damage slots are countered.
- Do not stack every attacker where one stun can disable the full defense.
- Do not call leaderboard rewards guaranteed; they depend on final rank.
- Verify the season timer rather than relying on the transcript's Update 3 deadline.
