How to Farm Thousands of Cursed Crystals Fast

The Evolution + QOL update doubles Investigation Cursed Crystal rewards on all difficulties. The announcement says rewards are comparable to or greater than Gamemode Raids, so an older blanket recommendation to farm raids first is no longer reliable.

Measure complete runs of Investigations and Gamemode Raids, including loading, objectives, travel, and restarting. Pick the best Crystals per minute for your build. Single-boss Overworld Raids do not award Cursed Crystals; Infinity Raid tokens and AFK World remain supplemental routes.

Investigations: twice the previous Crystal rewards

Investigations contain enemy rooms, minibosses, collection objectives, and a final boss. Check rooms for hidden chests and enemies to collect additional rewards.

Every difficulty received a 2× overall Cursed Crystal buff in the Evolution + QOL update. Teams can divide objectives and speed up enemy rooms. Compare the whole run with your usual Gamemode Raid; the larger reward does not automatically prove a faster rate for every build.

• Check every room for hidden chests and enemies.
• Split objectives between players when farming with a team.
• Use wide attacks for grouped enemies.
• Include loading and restart time in your comparison.

Gamemode Raids: compare reliable full runs

Gamemode Raids still award Cursed Crystals; single-boss Overworld Raids do not. Keep a raid route if your completed runs deliver better Crystals per minute than Investigations for your build.

Recheck that comparison after the new 2× Investigation reward buff. Choose a difficulty you can clear consistently and compare total rewards against total session time.

AFK Chamber and Infinity Raid

The AFK Chamber, also called AFK World, gives passive rewards based on your rank. Higher ranks can receive Cursed Crystals, although the exact threshold and rates are not confirmed. It does not beat active raid farming, but it keeps rewards coming while you are away.

Infinity Raid opens once each hour. Higher damage earns more Infinity Tokens instead of Cursed Crystals directly. Take those tokens to the Infinity Exchange inside Tomb of the Star and check the current shop before exchanging, because rates and inventory can change between updates.

Ended Summer Shop method (historical)

The Summer event has ended. Summer Island, Summer Siege, Summer quests, the Summer Shop, and event bosses are no longer active, so Summer Shells cannot currently be earned or spent.

Historically, the shop exchanged two hundred fifty Summer Shells for seven hundred fifty Cursed Crystals up to twenty-five times, or eighteen thousand seven hundred fifty crystals total. This is no longer a current farming method.
